Thanks to the immense support of our customers, ASKA safely negotiated its 32nd year of business in 2012, and it is down to your unstinting favor and custom that we have come so far. For this we offer our sincerest gratitude. In particular, 2012 was a difficult year due to the slow recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami (a once every 100 years disaster), the prolonged and unprecedented economic instability in the EU, economic stagnation arising from poor Sino-Japanese relations, and economic instability and unease caused by destabilization of domestic politics. However, thanks to the immense support we have received from our many customers in the battery energy sector, we have been able to lay the firm foundation for making further progress as a charging/discharge system coordinator into the next generation.
Against the background of industrial fluctuation in local societies, ASKA was one of the first companies to develop proprietary computer systems and evolve into a maker of balanced systems incorporating analog technology, digital technology and network technology. We believe it is our duty to provide major benefits to our customers through establishing the standardization of such systems.
While fulfilling its originally intended mission of becoming a total system coordinator, ASKA has evolved into its current role as a charging/discharge system maker thanks to the underlying energy received from its many customers.
Demands for the development of high-speed real-time charging/discharge systems - the essence of the energy revolution – based on the partial standardization of related technology while seeking the ultimate EV, have enabled us to grasp customer needs for further growth. Through realizing high-speed real-time performance unparalleled on the world market, we have strived to promote development that will contribute to future technological innovation and to fulfill our mission as a system pioneer so that we can realize high-speed real-time processing in all versions.
As a result, this was also a year in which we were able to lay the foundations for further progress as a system coordinator together with our customers.
Against the background of spiraling natural resource and energy prices combined with worldwide recession, further advancement of global warming and increasing unease over fossil fuels, these have been trying times in which the emergence of newly developing nations has led to global competition for rare earth metals.
With a view to dispelling such unease, automobile, power machinery and shipping industries throughout the world announced plans to dramatically break away from petroleum-based energy and to instigate a new energy revolution based on solar and wind energy, etc. At the same time, technologies for storing electricity from such sources have suddenly come under the spotlight, and it has been a year of ever deepening realization of the global mission that pioneering Japanese battery technologies must fulfill for the next generation.
Within this environment, ASKA’s charging/discharge systems can provide perfect support for future generations.
As we strive to further nurture relations of trust with our customers, we are committed to the promotion of the
that aims for the realization of design and quality contributing to management stability and mitigation of global warming. Moving into the future, we are committed to conducting prompt and fine-tuned market activities and fulfilling our responsibility as a forward thinking and sophisticated total system coordinator, and we look forward to receiving your ongoing guidance and support.
